PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a roll product which can fix the roll product securely against forces from various directions, facilitates storage and removal of the product, and does not require the replacement of a pedestal even if the diameter of a roll supporting shaft is changed. SOLUTION: The container is for use in storing the roll product R that is formed by rolling a sheet material around a cylindrical supporting shaft R1. The container is equipped with a pair of holding mechanisms 7 which hold the supporting shaft R1. This holding mechanism includes a main portion consisting of the pedestal 8 which bears the vicinity of both ends of the supporting shaft R1, and a handle-attached cramping part 9 arranged close to the end part of the supporting shaft and for cramping the end parts of the supporting ends to fix the roll product. The cramping part 9 has a base seat 9b, which is provided on the bearer side with a disc 9c that is inserted in a cylindrical hole of the supporting shaft R1 to suspend the roll product R, a rod 12 that penetrates the pedestal 8 to connect the base seat 9b to the pedestal 8, and a spring 13 that is wound at the penetration side of the pedestal 8.
