<p>The invention relates to a device (1) for eliminating impurities from the lubricating oil of an internal combustion engine. Said device (1) comprises a filter insert (2) on the bottom and a centrifuge (3) thereabove that is provided with a rotor (31) which is driven by means of penetrating lubricating oil. The filter insert (2) and the centrifuge (3) are disposed on top of each other in a common two-piece housing (4) that is closed during operation of the device (1) and encompasses a removable top screw cap (41) and a fixed bottom housing part (42). A removable intermediate lid (5) is positioned between the filter insert (2) and the centrifuge (3) within the housing (4). The centrifuge (3), the intermediate lid (5), and the filter insert (2) can be removed from the housing (4) in the open state thereof. Furthermore, the screw cap (41) and the intermediate lid (5) of the inventive device (1) are provided with detachable connecting means (45, 54; 34, 43') which engage with each other and transmit axial tractive forces or axial tractive and compressive forces.</p> |
