PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal device having a function reading a code image, and downloading and executing an application, and capable of rapidly and efficiently starting the stored application and executing it. SOLUTION: When a 'bar code' button of a menu bar 410 of a dedicated menu 400 is pressed, a cellphone 100 reads a two-dimensional bar code, and downloads and executes the application. Next, when a 'storage' button is pressed, the cellphone 100 stores the application, and registers a shortcut into a library. When a 'reading' button is pressed, the cellphone 100 displays the library, and executes the selected application. About the application registered in the library, the cellphone 100 confirms update information in prescribed timing, and updates the application.
