PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspending type carrying device capable of largely improving efficiency in connecting work and removal work of a carrier to a pair of roller chains. SOLUTION: In this device, engaging pins 64 and 66 are respectively arranged in a connecting position of the pair of roller chains 16A and 16B; hangers 30 are fixed to both sides of the carrier 12 for placing an article; a pin engaging hole 60 capable of inserting the engaging pins is formed in these hangers; the engaging pins of the pair of roller chains are inserted into the pin engaging hole of the respective hangers; and are connected in a state of suspending the carrier by the pair of roller chains. In the hangers, a slit 62 is formed by cutting out an area up to a substantial half of the length of the pin engaging hole from an opening part of the pin engaging hole opposed to the roller chains up to an under surface of the hanger from a hole lower part. In this slit 62, the engaging pins can pass up to a lower part of the hanger from the pin engaging hole, or can pass up to the pin engaging hole from below the hanger. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
