PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is uneconomical because the two shapes of a rectilinear direction and an orthogonal direction are required regarding the discharging directions of compression molded bodies due to warehouse spaces, adjacent grounds or the like where a compression molding machine for recycling scrap wood is installed in. SOLUTION: In the compression molding machine, a feed chamber and a molding chamber are provided in a horizontal direction, and on the other side of the feed chamber, a compressor with a reciprocating ram plate is installed in order. The edge part of a feed section unit integrally composed of the feed chamber and the compressor is made connectable with the edge part of a molding section unit in which the discharge port of the molding chamber is located rectilinearly to the compressing direction, and further, made connectable with the edge part of a molding section unit in which the discharge port is located orthogonally to the compressing direction, so as to be commonly fittable, and the discharging direction of compression molded bodies is made selectable between a rectilinear direction and an orthogonal direction.
