PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can arbitrarily set an intake unit quantity of game balls by the unit of one piece within a range from one piece to a maximum unit quantity (e.g., 15 pieces), and can take in game balls of the set intake unit quantity in a short period of time in the slot machine of which the game medium is the game ball. SOLUTION: A taking-in rotary body 51 is equipped with a housing recess section 52 of a specified length which can house game balls under a single string form, is turnably provided, houses game balls which stream down from a casting port 43 in the housing recess section 52 under the single string form under the state that the housing recess section 52 has turned to an accepting position which faces the casting port 43. Also, the intake rotary body 51 discharges the game balls being housed in the housing recess section 52 under the state that the housing recess section 52 has turned to a discharging position which enables the game balls to stream down. A intake unit quantity adjusting means 81 adjusts the intake unit game ball quantity by changing the opening area of a casting path 54 with which the casting slot 43 and the housing recess section 52 are communicated by a specified game ball quantity unit.
