<p>A pump dispenser having a vent hole positioned higher than a packing seal surface to prevent a liquid from leaking and providing advantageous cost performance by simplifying the structure of a mold. The pump dispenser with a cap (1) fitted to the mouth part of a container body (13) in which the liquid is stored comprises a housing (2) having a body part (2a) engaged with the cap, a cylinder (3) fitted into the housing and disposed above a seal part, and a piston member (6) slidable in the cylinder. The vent hole (3b1) is formed in the cylinder, and a vent flow passage led to the atmosphere (P) and eliminating a negative pressure in the container body is formed between the outer wall of the cylinder and the inner wall of the housing. Also, the cylinder (3) is fitted into the housing so that it can be supported by ribs (2d) formed on the inner wall of the housing (2).</p> |
