<p>The invention relates to a controller for a light, a lamp and a method of controlling a light. The controller comprises means for detecting an object and control means for providing a control signal for controlling the light in response to a change in the location of a detected object. The control signal is operable to switch the on/off state of the light in response to a change in location of the detected object from a detectable location to an undetectable location and to control the brightness of the light in response a change in distance between the detected object and the detecting means.</p> |
