PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner member for a ceiling cornice part of fine appearance easily executed taking no execution time regarding the corner member for the ceiling cornice part of J-channel members or the like used between a siding forming an external wall of a building and a mounting member of a window frame or the like. SOLUTION: This corner member for the ceiling cornice part comprises a base 1 abutting on the inner side faces of siding end covering plate bodies 23 of the J-channel members 21, and a cover member 2 for covering the outer side faces of the siding end covering plate bodies 23 of the J-channel members 21. Fittable projecting parts 6 provided at the base 1, and fittable projecting parts provided at the back face of the cover member are fitted to each other to mount the corner member to a corner part of the window frame or the like where the J-channel members 21 orthogonally abut each other.
