PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily keep a more varied desired photographing poses even if the user holds a unstable pose. SOLUTION: A hand rail 41 which can be gripped by the user in order to support the user for keeping a photographing pose is disposed in the middle of the front of the main body 3 of the apparatus. In this case, the hand rail 41 is disposed out of the viewing angle of a camera 15 and also disposed so that the shadow of the hand rail 41 is not shown in a finished photograph, and the hand rail 41 does not interfere with illuminating environment created by illuminating parts 19a, 19b, 21a, 21b, 23, and 25.
