<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device making high precision assemblage using simply structured components. <P>SOLUTION: The optical device is composed of: three first optical components 2A-2C emitting collimated light; a second optical component 3 arranged at the intersection of the three first optical components 2A-2C; and a substrate 4 equipped with a first and a second groove 4a, 4b for positioning/arranging the first optical components 2A-2C and with a recess 4c for positioning/arranging the second optical component 3. The first groove 4a is formed in a cross-sectionally rectangular shape wider than the first optical components 2A, 2B. When the three first optical components 2A-2C and the second optical component 3 are mounted on a substrate, the optical axes of the optical system composed of the first and second optical components 2A-2C, 3 coincide with each other in the optical device. The first groove 4a is formed with a width equivalent to the added length of an offset quantity d and the diameter of the optical component 2A, wherein the offset quantity results when the light from the first optical component 2A passes through the second optical component 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
