After the duct (9) has been cleaned it is filled with water (2) and the flow rate determined. If the detected value does not exceed a particular agreed level the data are saved and the duct (9) used again. The cleaning and testing process is repeated until the critical value is achieved if the first test was unsuccessful. If, after a pre-set number of trials the value is still not satisfying the duct (9) has to be replaced. Using the data of several tests a tendency is determined and used as a reference for a prediction regarding the life-span of the particular item (9). |
