<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make moire inconspicuous in specific pattern generated by screen processing through simple processing. <P>SOLUTION: A substitution object command detection portion 1 detects a drawing command or drawing command sequence generating predetermined moire as a substitution object command. Then a drawing command substitution portion 2 substitutes a drawing command or drawing command sequence capable of apparently reducing the moire for all or some of substitution object commands detected by the substitution object command detection portion 1. Consequently, the moire generated by screen processing to be performed later can be suppressed to be inconspicuous, and an image of excellent picture quality can be formed. Further, the moire can be made inconspicuous through the simple processing in a time much shorter than that of processing for a bit map image since the processing is performed for the drawing command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
