PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box body with a lid in which a lid body is surely prevented from falling, and attachment and detachment of the lid body are facilitated. SOLUTION: A step part 104 formed continuously from a lower end of a side face of a step part 102 of a lower front face of a low tank cover body 100 to its upper face is provided in the step part 102. A lid body 105 continuously covering an entrance 104 from the side face to the upper face of the step part 102 is mounted on the entrance 104. A projecting member 106 which projects from the upper edge of the lid body 105 is inserted from an insertion hole 115 to a reverse side of the upper edge of the entrance 104. A projecting part 116 is engaged with a recess part 107 of the projecting member 106. The lower part of the lid body 105 is fixed to the entrance 104 by claw pieces 108 elastically engaged with both of the right and left side edges of the lower part of the entrance 104.
