PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device provided with various functions and capable of improving the operability of an apparatus to be operated by various users.

SOLUTION: The input device 31 installed in an apparatus to be operated by a user while being held and capable of displaying an input part 55 arranged in a state corresponding to the functions of the apparatus is provided with: a storage means 39 for storing display coordinates necessary for the display of the input part 55; a display part 33 for reading out the display coordinates stored in the storage part 39 and displaying the input part 55 on picture coordinates corresponding to the display coordinates; an instruction input part 32 for inputting instruction coordinates for optionally instructing the display position of the input part 55; and a display control part for updating the corresponding display coordinates stored in the storage part 39 on the basis of the instruction coordinates inputted by the instruction input part 32.
