PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf apparatus with a tiltable shelf board capable of mounting an article mounted on the lower part of the shelf apparatus in a frontward diagonally upward tilted state without tilting the lower part of the shelf apparatus projecting diagonally forward. SOLUTION: The front lower parts of left/right side boards are connected with a bottom rail 3, at least engagement holes in the lowest stage out of a group of rear side engagement holes 6a' are provided in positions lower than the upper end edge of the bottom rail 3, a front recessed groove 14a in the lower face of the lowest-stage rack board 7 is fitted with a shelf receiving implement 10 locked to the engagement hole 6a in the upper end edge of the bottom rail 3, and a rear recessed groove 14a is fitted with a shelf receiving implement 10 locked to an engagement hole 6a' provided in a position lower than the upper end edge of the bottom rail 3, so that at least the lowest-stage shelf board 7 is laid between the left/right side boards 4 with its tilted rearward.
