PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having the function of suitably coping with an infection by a computer virus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is configured to include a virus checker to detect a file containing a virus from a storage device, a conversion part to convert the file detected by the virus checker into other code data, and an evacuation part to evacuate the converted code data to a specific area in the storage device.
