<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device capable of stably keeping a function of a brake by securing smooth operation of a driving force converting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: As a ball 6c of a ball screw mechanism 6 as the driving force converting mechanism is made of ceramic, fretting abrasion by metal-to-metal contact with a thread groove of a screw shaft 6a and a nut 6b is prevented even when the ball 6c is slightly moved by the vibration from a road surface, thus the smooth operation of the driving force converting mechanism can be secured, and the function of the brake can be stably kept. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
