<p>The method involves preparing an organic fuel e.g. biomass fuel, and supplying the organic fuel into a gasification device (4). An autothermic gasification of the organic fuel into synthesis gas is performed. The synthesis gas is cleaned and compressed and supplied to internal combustion engine with a turbo charger. The cleaning of the gas is performed in several different cleaning stages and temperature of the gas is highly regulated.</p>
