<p>A voltage converter apparatus (1) for receiving an input signal (Si1), which has a high input voltage (Vi_high) and a low input voltage (Vi_low), and converting the voltage level of the input signal (Si1) to output the resultant signal as an output signal (So1), comprising a first input part (In1) for receiving the input signal (Si1); a first output part (Out1) for outputting the first output signal (So1); and voltage converting means having a TFT (2) for performing switching between at least two states including a connection state in which the first input part (In1) is connected to a first node (N1) and a disconnection state in which the first input part (In1) is disconnected from the first node (N1); wherein the voltage converting means has first voltage dropping means for dropping the voltage at the first node (N1) prior to a change from the state in which the first input part (In1) is disconnected from the first node (N1) to the state in which the first input part (In1) is connected to the first node (N1).</p> |
