PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater having a heating element with long life, prevented from breakage due to the occurrence of heat spot. SOLUTION: As the density of a connection part 14a of the heating element 14 is constituted so as to become large as it is headed to the end part thereof, the internal resistance of the connection part 14a at the end part of the heating element 14 becomes gradually small to make current more easy to flow. Accordingly, at the part of the connection part 18a ranging from tip end part 18a<SB>1</SB>to base side part 18a<SB>2</SB>, the current i<SB>1</SB>to i<SB>n</SB>flowing toward the heating element 14 becomes uniform to some extent. Namely, an intensive current flow at specific part (tip end part 18a<SB>1</SB>of the connection part 18a and neighboring area of a contact part) of the heating element 14 is eliminated, the generation of heat spot HS is restrained, and disconnection of the heating element 14 can be prevented.
