PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device allowing reduction of the number of components, imparting superior operability and visibility to a customer, and capable of preventing taking-forgetting of paid paper money. SOLUTION: This automatic transaction device 1 provided rotatably has a customer service drum 6 where a part of a peripheral face 6a is cut out, formed with a money reception/payment port 6b. An automatic transaction device 1 casing is formed with an opening part 7 at a position opposite to the customer service drum 6. The automatic transaction device 1 has a main control part 4, performing control for turning the customer service drum 6 such that the money receiving/paying port 6b faces the opening part 7, when bringing the money reception/payment port 6b into an opening state to the outside of the device, and displacing the money receiving/paying port 6b from the opening part 7, when cutting off the money receiving/paying port 6b from the device outside, and making the customer service drum 6 turn, such that the peripheral face 6a of the customer service drum 6 closes the opening part 7.
