<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter case for a dust-protective mask, capable of appropriately determining the timing to change a filter and sufficiently retaining the air-tightness, and the dust-protective mask having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The timing to change the filter can be determined based on the change in the color of the filter because a cover of the filter case for the dust-protective mask is transparent. Furthermore, whether or not the filter is appropriately mounted can be visually confirmed by a third person. Specifically, a sheet-like electrostatic filter 6 can be stored between the cover 1 with outside air intake apertures 2 and a base 10 with inspiration apertures 11 connected to a face body in the filter case for the dust-protective mask.
