PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commonly zoomed optical system which is used substantially in common for a plurality of zoom lenses as a component and is capable of suppressing fluctuation in aberrations and fluctuations at the position of the image plane, and to provide a zoom lens and a lens system provided with the common zoom optical system. SOLUTION: The commonly zoomed optical system is used substantially commonly in the plurality of zoom lenses as a component, and when zooming from a wide-angle end state of the plurality of zoom lenses composed by using the common zoom optical system to a telephoto end state thereof, the moving path of the commonly zoomed optical system differs for each zoom lens.
