PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling planting machine transplanting seedlings to a nursery cabinet, with which seedling-planting depth can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: This seedling planting machine is provided with a nursery cabinet conveying device (A) on which a nursery cabinet 1 is placed to convey the cabinet, a seedling supply device C around which a seedling supporting body 15 supporting the seedling revolves, and seedling holding hands 5b, 5c holding the seedlings in the seedling supporting body 15 and moving to plant the seedlings in the nursery cabinet 1 installed in the nursery cabinet conveying device (A). The seedling supporting body 15 is provided with an upper-side seedling supporting part 15a upwardly open so as to set the seedling supplied by an operator N into the seedling supporting body 15, a lower-side seedling supporting part 15d supporting the lower end of the seedling in the seedling supporting body 15, and an opening part 15c laterally open so that the seedling holding hands 5b, 5c get in and out the seedling supporting body 15 through the side of the part to take out the seedling. The lower-side seedling supporting part 15d of the seedling supporting body 15 is structured so as to be changeable in its longitudinal position based on the seedling holding hands 5b, 5c moving to the seedling holding positions.
