PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air inside a drain channel for dehumidification from flowing into a washing tub in the structure for drying the laundry using a heat pump. SOLUTION: A drum type laundry washer/dryer 1 has a water tub 3 and a rotary tub 4 disposed inside an outer casing 2, and a heat-pump type drying device 20 is disposed in a lower part of the water tub 3 inside the outer casing 2. The drying device 20 consists of a blower fan 22, an evaporator 23 and a condenser 24 which are disposed inside a ventilation duct 21. The ventilation duct 21 communicates with the water tub 3, and air circulates between the water tub 3 and the ventilation duct 21 because of the effect of blowing of the blower fan 22. A dehumidification drain pipe 40 is connected to the ventilation duct 21 via a drain port 37. The dehumidification drain pipe 40 has a drain valve 39 for dehumidification to prevent air in the dehumidification drain pipe 40 from flowing into the ventilation duct 21.
