PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe cooking pan capable of securely preventing scattering of oil and hot water, etc. when a cooking material is loaded, and preventing a burn, etc. SOLUTION: The cooking pan 1 comprises a pan body 2 for storing the cooking material 10 inside from an upper opening 2a, and a lid 3 for covering the upper opening 2a of the pan body 2. The lid 3 comprises a casing 6 capable of storing the cooking material 10 inside from a lower opening 6a, an open/close member 7 for opening/closing the lower opening 6a, and an abutting part 6d disposed under the casing 6 to abut to the peripheral edge 2b of the opening of the pan body 2.
