DOCUMENT PROCESSING DEVICE AND DOCUMENT PROCESSING METHOD

There is provided a technique capable of appropriately handling a document structured by the markup language. When a document processing device acquires a document described with a first vocabulary and creates a source DOM tree, it applies a first definition file correlated to the document so9 as to map it to a document described with a second vocabulary, thereby creating a destination DOM tree (1). Furthermore, the document processing device applies the second definition file for mapping to the document described with a third vocabulary, thereby creating a destination DOM tree (2). The document processing device displays the document mapped to the third vocabulary by a processing system responsible for the third vocabulary.
