<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope which can obtain proper magnified images by preventing dew from condensing on the objective lens, and to provide a method of preventing dew on the objective lens. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an objective lens 1, having a heater 22 in a cell culture chamber 3 which has a space controlled to a high relative humidity of 90-100% and to a predetermined gas temperature, the cells 12 cultivated in the chamber 3 are observed with this objective lens 1, while controlling the heater 22 so as to have the temperature of the objective lens 1 higher than the gas temperature in the high temperature and humidity space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
