PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of preventing increase in the number of connectors and easily changing a control program. SOLUTION: Upon reception of a switching instruction by a dial button 12, a CPU 6a reads a data writing program stored in a writing program storing unit 6b, and executes the data writing program which has been read. Upon executing the data writing program, the CPU 6a outputs a rewriting signal to a signal switching circuit 4 through a switching control line 7. Upon receiving the rewriting signal, the signal switching circuit 4 connects a handset connection modular connector 2 to a CPU 6c. After that, the CPU 6a executes the data writing program, thereby changing the control program on the basis of data to be inputted from the modular connector 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
