PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of low power consumption by reducing power consumption of a controller of the display device. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a comparison circuit 11 for comparing predetermined reference image data to be referred with the image data intended to be displayed in a prescribed period.
