PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously casting stainless molten steel using a hot reusable tundish where, in the tundish, the contamination of a slab caused by the remaining steel slag and the oxidation of skull, and deterioration in its quality caused by inclusions are prevented, and the high quality and high yield of the slab are made possible. SOLUTION: The continuous casting method comprises: a stage where, after the completion of continuous casting, a seal cover 33 is installed in the opening part 28 of a tundish cover 25, then, a tundish 10 is tilted from a horizontal state, so as to exhaust molten steel and steel slag till the quantity of the remaining steel slag in the tundish 10 reaches the range of 0.1 to <0.6 tons, and thereafter, the tundish 10 is returned to the horizontal state, and is allowed to wait in a hot state; and a stage where molten steel is fed to the waiting tundish 10, and, after the holding of a prescribed amount of molten steel into the tundish 10, teeming from the tundish 10 to a die is started.
