PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail guiding device for a passenger conveyor wherein the running resistance of a handrail is reduced by making the handrail guiding device easier to conform with the handrail at its curved portion and parts can easily be replaced or newly added. SOLUTION: In the handrail guiding device for a passenger conveyor, which has straight portions and curved portions, the curved portion 3 comprises: a pair of fastening devices 13 fixed at both ends of a curved handrail frame 6; a roller chain 10 having each of its ends fastened to each of the fastening devices 13, tensionedly extended along the curved handrail frame 6, and provided with link plates; and large-diameter rollers 7a rotatably journaled to the link plates to rotate in contact with the back side 4a of the handrail 4 as the handrail 4 travels.
