<p>This invention relates to a method and apparatus for determining how an outgoing phone call is identified by recipient other than by Called Line Identification (CLI-P).<I/>When Caller "A" initiates a call to Recipient "B" the system sends a predefined signal, including, but not limited to, text, logo, icon, ring tone, music clip, video clip etc. ("Signal") to Recipient B's receiver or handset to identify Caller "A", even if "A" is unknown to "B" and does not appear on any of B's lists of identified callers. Caller "A" is the subscriber to the service and he determines the Signal to be identified with, on B's telecommunication apparatus.</p> |
