PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing device which performs wide positional adjustment of a lens for imaging a laser beam on an optical disk also between distant tracks on the optical disk. SOLUTION: The laser beam for recording and reproduction is moved to a predetermined track position on the optical disk 1 by a position detecting part 7 for optically reading an actuator position, a table creating part 21 for creating a relation table between the number of tracks to a moved track position to be irradiated with the laser beam when the actuator 6 has moved from a reference track position irradiated with the laser beam of the actuator 6 and a movement detecting signal at the moved track position with respect to the reference detecting signal read and obtained by the position detecting part 7, a control part 23 for storing the created relation table in a storage part 22, and an actuator driving part 13 for driving the actuator 6 and irradiating the moved track position with the laser beam based on the relation table read from the storage part 22 according to an instruction from the control part 23.
