PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner attaining rapid kick-off of electrostatic charge, ensuring a uniformly and stably charged state, having high durability during repetitive image formation, excellent also in transferability of a toner image to a transfer material and giving a clear image free from fog by modifying a fixation improver with a cationic group-contg. unit. SOLUTION: This toner contains a copolymer resin consisting of a hydrophobic monomer and an ionic monomer and preferably having 40-70 deg.C glass transition temp. and a fixation improver contg. a cationic unit or further contains a colorant, an electric charge controlling agent, etc., and has 5-100m<2> /g BET specific surface area. The fixation improver is preferably polyolefin contg. introduced structural units having a cationic group as each unit selected from among amino, amido and quat. ammonium salt groups. |
