The proposed device for protecting an amplifier against steady leakage currents contains a current transformer, an over current protection circuit, a steady leakage current transducer with a magnetosensitive detecting element that can store the output signal of the transducer that causes the operation of the proposed device, a rectifier, a thyristor, a diode, and a ripple LC filter. The output of the steady leakage current transducer is connected to the input of the control circuit of the thyristor.
