Invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to the devices for slag-free tapping of steel from steel-making vessels into pouring ladles. The sliding lock contains fixed steel holder with fireproof plate, mobile steel holder with fireproof plate with an opening and pot-collector, which is mounted on the roller bearings located in the longitudinal grooves of beams, which with the help of axles are connected with L-shaped levers, equilibrator containing a counterweight, which is cinematically connected with L-shaped levers, and the drive of displacement of mobile steel holder consisting of two plunger hydraulic cylinders rigidly connected with fixed steel holder and mounted with possibility of contact by the ends of their plungers with front and rear ends of mobile steel holder. Equilibrator includes the gear quadrants connected with L-shaped levers, which engage the racks connected with the counterweight. Lock ensures reduction of the duration of maintenance operations of the system of tapping channel and gives the possibility to use it on the oxygen converter.
