FIELD: repairing of bearing assemblies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises step of dismounting bearing assembly; detecting part defects; completing assembly by selecting set of gaskets; determining thickness of gasket set according to given formula; assembling bearing unit while placing set of gaskets between end of outer race at least of one worn bearing and cover; using set of gaskets that has at least one rubber-metal ring with outer and inner diameters equal respectively to diameter of mounting surface and to diameter of border of outer race of bearing; regulating radial gap of bearing due to tightening bolts. ^ EFFECT: improved operational reliability, simplified maintenance and operation of bearing assembly. ^ 1 dwg |
