Method for managing the quality of service (QOS) in a radiocommunication mobile system

The process involves indicating a parameter representing quality of service for a transport network layer, by controlling radio network controller for a base station (2), through signaling protocol of radio network layer. The parameter is used by the base station for managing the quality of service of transport. The protocol is a signaling protocol applicable to an interface between the controller and the station. An independent claim is also included for a network unit.
