A content delivering apparatus for allowing contents to be reproduced without any interruption even when the path for receiving the contents is switched from a broadcast wave to a communication network at any given timing in a case of protecting the contents by use of DRM license. For this purpose, a user terminal (100) decides which one of a broadcast wave (20) and a communication network (30) should be used as a reception path for acquiring the contents, and switches, based on that decision, reception paths. If the broadcast wave (20) from which contents are firstly acquired is switched to the communication network (30) for acquiring the contents, then a broadcast DRM module (140) is replaced by a communication DRM module (150). Subsequently, the user terminal acquires a license of communication DRM from a DRM server (300) and then uses this license to reproduce the contents.
