摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image to be entered beyond the resolution of an object even when the length of a plate cylinder varies by setting and changing the input timing created based on the constant number of pulse signals generated per single rotation of the plate cylinder using a means for setting input timing in accordance with the length of the plate cylinder to be used. SOLUTION: Prior to the start of printing an item, the circumferential length of a plate cylinder to be used is entered by an input part 22 for the circumferential length of the plate cylinder. Then an A phase signal which outputs (a) pulse per single rotation of the plate cylinder and is generated by a rotary encoder 12 connected to the rotating shaft of the plate cylinder 10, is converted in accordance with the length of the plate cylinder to be entered. Further, an image equivalent to a single line for a single pulse (input timing) is entered by a line sensor camera 14. The line image to be entered per input timing by the line sensor camera 14 is compared to a reference image created previously at a defect processing part 126 by delimiting a checked image equivalent to the single rotation of the plate cylinder at the Z-phase signal generated by a single pulse fro every rotation of the plate cylinder by the rotary encoder 12.
