PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing mesenchymal stem cells is provided to effectively suppress immunity and to treat atopic dermatitis without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition of topical administration for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis contains mesenchymal stem cells as active ingredients. The topical administration is administration by hypodermic injection. The administration amount of mesenchymal stem cells is 4 × 10^5 - 1 × 10^6 cells at once.
