摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reutilizing a catalyst in the manufacture of an alkylene carbonate from an alkylene oxide and carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the alkylene carbonate which comprises causing the alkylene oxide to react with carbon dioxide in the presence of a halogenated alkali catalyst, the alkylene carbonate, an unreacted alkylene oxide and unreacted carbon dioxide are separated from a mixture containing the alkylene carbonate discharged from the reactor to give a mixture (A) containing the halogenated alkali catalyst, and a part (B) of the mixture (A) is discharged outside of the reaction system while the remainder is utilized as a catalyst of the reaction between the alkylene oxide and carbon dioxide, where the ratio (C) of B to A is 3-30 mass%.
