PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soldering iron tip capable of prolonging the lifetime, and reducing the frequency of change for a tip for solving a problem of metal corrsion crack of tin of a lead-free solder. SOLUTION: A cap type tip which can be easily changed without impairing the temperature characteristic and the workability of a known soldering iron tip as a cap type changeable tip, is provided.
