<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe and a piping method using it which are used for a prefabricated method of construction of piping for a building, and which realize easy positioning of a branch part, easy connection and a small-diameter through hole of a floor without the need for obtaining large space for execution, and enable the execution to be performed without damaging or deforming the piping. <P>SOLUTION: The joint 1 with the branch pipe used for the prefabricated method of construction of the piping is provide with a joint part body 31, the branch part 32, and a main pipe part 2. The joint part body has an upper connection and a lower connection, each of which has the same axis, and a body. Then the branch part joints a branch pipe to the joint part body 31, and a main pipe of a given length of the main pipe part is connected to either the upper connection or the lower connection.
