PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities for taking in bedrock groundwater, which enable the efficient intake of a groundwater source in a bedrock, and which greatly reduces initial costs. SOLUTION: The facilities for taking in the bedrock groundwater almost comprises a vertical shaft 1 which is dug down from the earth's surface to the inside of the bedrock, a water-collecting-hole driving space 3 which is formed in such a manner as to protrude into the bedrock from a lower section of the vertical shaft 1, and water collecting holes 4 which are arranged in such a manner as to be horizontally radial toward the bedrock from the space 3. The lower section of the vertical shaft 1 serves as a water absorbing tank 2 for storing the bedrock groundwater w collected by the holes 4. A pumping means 12, which comprises a pumping pipe 12a arranged from the tank 2 to the ground, and a lifting pump 12b connected to a terminal end of the pumping pipe 12a, is provided inside the vertical shaft 1, so that the bedrock groundwater w stored in the tank 2 can be utilized on the ground.
