PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle dispersed system, an identification factor attaching method and device, a particle-dispersed system attaching means, a medium with an identification factor, an identification information reading method and device, a medium discrimination method and device, and a medium discriminating system. SOLUTION: The particle-dispersed system contains a dispersion medium and particles, having identification factor which can provide identification information for identifying it as the dispersed medium. The identification factor attaching method and device, and the particle-dispersed system attaching means attach a particle-dispersed system to a medium. The medium with an identification factor has a particle-dispersed system attached to it. The identification information reading method and system read the identification information from the identification factor attached to the medium. The medium discrimination method and system discriminate the medium, by using the identification factor attached to the medium. The medium discrimination system includes an identification-attaching device, an identification information reading device and a means for collating the read identification information with the identification information, obtained in advance.
