PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device with superior vibration transmission performance, provided with a means for limiting displacement in a torsional direction. SOLUTION: The vibration control device 10 is mainly composed of a cylindrical rubbery elastic member 3, first and second plates 1 and 2 respectively provided on both axial ends of the rubbery elastic member 3, and an insertion body 6 arranged in a through hole 5 of the rubbery elastic member 3. Vertical cross sections of the through hole and the insertion body 6 are elliptically shaped, and the vertical cross section of the insertion body 6 is slightly smaller than the through hole 5. When the rubbery elastic member 3 is greatly twisted around an axis, an inner circumferential face of the through hole 5 contacts an outer circumferential face of an added body.
