PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper incoming call ringing in a communication terminal device to be connected to an analog telephone line providing an originator information notification service. SOLUTION: An incoming call detecting unit 7 detects an incoming call signal (call signal, information reception terminal activating signal etc.) received by a line control unit 2 from a telephone line, and transmits it to a main control unit 1. The unit 1 identifies whether an incoming call signal is a call signal or an information reception terminal activating signal on the basis of the length of the on-period of the wavelength of the incoming call signal detected in the unit 7. If identifying that the signal is the call signal, the unit 1 causes a call tone outputting unit 12 to output a call tone and a display unit 14 to display originator information. If determining that the signal is the information reception terminal activating signal, the unit 1 transmits a primary response signal by closing the telephone line, and then, receives the originator information.
